Technical support for the use of this kind of a system has to be a cooperative venture between, the City of Albuquerque and the various vendors and manufacturers of the equipment used with the system. There is no single point source for everything the user needs to know about using this kind of system. The City of Albuquerque can tell users what they need to know about the specifics of the network and what is needed to connect to it. The City will also help in every way possible with other issues but cannot possibly answer all questions related to use of the system. Mobile phone issues will ultimately have to be resolved by mobile phone service providers. Modem card information comes from those manufacturers. GPS manufacturer technical support and local vendor technical support are the bottom line with regards to how to get their system's software and hardware to connect a specific piece of equipment to an NTRIP network. They make their equipment and only they know exactly what their software is doing. So how well technical support works for an individual user is going to be a combination of how well the response is from all of these various sources. Please keep this in mind when deciding which kind of equipment to purchase or use with this system.
Fortunately some of our local users as well as network operators in other states have been very cooperative and generous with their time and information so, with their help, we have been able to put together some reference material that will be helpful with these issues. Please check the Equipment Setup for these references. Hopefully many if not all of your questions can be answered by the documents on this page.
